Leslie Deere is a UK based audio visual artist. Originally from Tennessee, Leslie moved to study Sonic Art in the UK, continuing on from a dance scholarship in New York City. She holds a BA Honours degree in Sonic Art under Hugh Davies at Middlesex University and an MA in Communication Art & Design from the Royal College of Art - Acoustic Images pathway (Jon Wozencroft, Touch Recs).

Commissions include sound installations for Kew Gardens, London and New York Fashion Weeks. Her work has been featured on The Late Junction - BBC Radio 3, Freak Zone - Radio 6, Resonance FM, NTS and Radio Concertzender. In 2015-2016 Leslie was selected for the Sound and Music Organisation’s Embedded Residency at Music Hackspace in London and was commissioned by the 2016 Whitstable Biennale to debut the new Kinect performance work, Modern Conjuring for Amateurs.

In late 2017 Leslie began PhD research at the Glasgow School of Art, with a focus on altered states, sound, interactive and gesture based technologies. Most recently Deere took part in the 2018 Forthwith experimental music and arts Festival in Winnipeg, Canada and released a new book featuring Southern US artists, entitled Twisted Scripture.

Graham Dunning is self-taught as an artist and musician having studied neither discipline academically. His live work explores sound as texture, timbre and something tactile, drawing on bedroom production, tinkering and recycling found objects. He also creates visual work, video and installations drawing on these themes.
Much of the work evolves through experimentation with different processes: considering the methods by which sounds become music; process as a continuum encompassing both improvisational and procedural methods; and testing analogous processes across different media.
Graham has performed solo and in ensembles across the UK, Europe and Canada, and exhibited in the UK, Europe, New Zealand and USA. He teaches Experimental Sound Art at the Mary Ward Centre in London and also gives various independent workshops. He has released through Entr’acte, Seagrave, Tombed Visions and more.
